IT WAS TEMPTING, of course, to use a corporate style image where I’m in my nice blue shirt hovering by a photocopier but here’s the thing… I’m a 50 year old man who likes playing with machines. I always have done. The photographs were taken at my little boy’s birthday party in January 2017 and I am controlling a robot. I think you can see I’m having rather a good time! And it’s always been this way for me. Anything with moving parts! My wife refers to my car as my mistress and groans at the piles of radio-controlled helicopter parts that dominate our dining room.
